In the small village of Garabandal, in the Cantabrian Mountains of northern Spain, apparitions of Saint Michael the Archangel and the Blessed Virgin Mary were seen by 4 young girls, aged between 11 and 12 (Conchita González, Mari Cruz González, Jacinta González y Mari Loli Mazón).
The Holy Virgin Mary appeared to them nearly 3,000 times between 1961 and 1965.
