We are a family business based in Swindon, Wiltshire and organise pilgrimages to many destinations around the world. Our most popular pilgrimages include the Holy Land, Poland and Mexico. We also offer pilgrimages to Spain, Italy, Medjugorje, Fatima, Canada and Asia. Our success is due to our team’s dedication and hard work. Alan Beard

Chairman

Alan achieved a first-class honours degree in Computer Science at Wolverhampton University, and then went on to achieve a Master’s in Computer Science at Queen Mary University in London. He spent most of his career as a computer programmer for major airlines, including British Airways, Kuwait Airways and Saudi Arabian airlines. When he returned to the UK from Saudi Arabia he became self-employed and worked mainly for Amadeus, who is responsible for one of the major airline reservation systems in the world. His strong work ethic, as well as his experience in the travel industry has contributed to the success of All Saints Travel.

Nelia Beard

Company Secretary

Nelia’s strong Catholic faith is the reason why she founded the company in 2003. Her 20 years’ experience working in the travel industry, together with her hard work and passion for pilgrimages, contribute to the success of our life-changing journeys of faith. She studied Banking and Finance at the Southwestern University in the Philippines and moved to the UK where she raised her family. Nelia continues to pass on her in-depth knowledge to her peers and will continue to evangelize for years to come.

Katherine Stacey

Director

Katherine studied Economics at the University of Portsmouth. After graduating, she spent most of her young adult career as an Account Manager in London. She joined the company in March 2015 and is responsible for tour management and company sales. Katherine has a passion for sport and travel; she competed in boxing tournaments during her time at university and still enjoys boxing as a form of exercise in her spare time. She travels on many of our pilgrimages to offer additional support and to ensure we continue to deliver the best possible service to our customers.

Melanie Murkin

Finance Manager

Melanie has a BSc 2.1 degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Birmingham. She continued her education by studying in Leeds where she achieved the CIMA Professional Qualification and was awarded the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. She joined the company in May 2019 and is responsible for all our finances and accounts. Melanie’s work history includes various accounting roles in both the financial services sector and the medical device industry.  She currently lives with her family in Oxfordshire and enjoys socialising and keeping fit.

Chris Beard

General Manager

Chris joined the company in November 2015 and is responsible for the company’s marketing and general management. Prior to becoming a member of the team, he studied English and Philosophy at the University of Aberdeen, then went on to become a Project Manager in Shenzhen, China where he lived for 4 years. His passions include cooking, reading and music. He loves playing the guitar and has even written some of his own songs.
