Pilgrimage draws us to God and establish Him as the centre of our existence. It offers us an opportunity to sustain and increase our faith, hope, and trust in God. We take a journey to experience God, and through our Lady of Fatima, the message of God is revealed to us in a unique way, individually and as a group. Our prayers are answered, our hope is renewed, and we realise that setting off for that place where God specially chose to reveal his messages to humankind is a calling to have an intimate encounter with God in different areas of our lives.

I am delighted to invite you to be part of a great spiritual experience in Fatima with the Nigerian Catholic Chaplaincy of England and Wales as we embark on a journey of hope and divine peace. Special areas of interest include the Our Lady of Fatima Apparition, St. Anthony of Padua’s Church and tomb, and the Eucharistic Miracle of Santarem at St. Stephen Church. This pilgrimage promises to bring abundant blessings to you and your family. It will strengthen your faith, and the serenity you need will surely be obtained through the intercession of our Lady.

As people of faith and prayer, we continue to live in the hope and trust that we will encounter the Eucharistic Jesus at St. Stephen and that our lost joy, peace, dreams, and property will be restored with our visit to St. Anthony of Padua. May the Lord be with us to protect and help us and those who are dear to us. For all who come, they will be witnessing and participating in the phenomenon of God’s grace. Please, if you hear the silent voice of invitation, do not hesitate to join us for this pilgrimage because the blessings of God await you and your loved ones. Don’t miss it.

Yours in Christ,

Fr. Alexander Atu
Chaplain NCC.
