UK - Santander San Sebastian de Garabandal
Depart London Stansted to Santander. Upon arrival we will be met by our guide at the airport, and we will transfer to our accommodation (guesthouse). As we drive through the countryside, enjoy the sight of the lush green mountains before we arrive in the vicinity of the hamlet of Garabandal, situated in the Cantabrian Mountains of northern Spain. Dinner and overnight at our hotel. Note: Due to the size of Garabandal accommodation is limited. It will be basic, but clean and comfortable.
Full day in Garabandal
After breakfast, we will attend Mass at the only beautiful church in Garabandal (if available) or at the Information Office often Masses is held here. Afterwards, we will walk around the small and a very peace village home of just 100 inhabitants. After lunch, we climb up the hill to the Pines the place where the 4 girls witness the apparitions. From 2nd July 1961 and sporadically until 13th November 1965, the Blessed Virgin visited them, speaking, guiding and confiding secrets of future events. The children reported a promised future miracle at a grove of pine trees on a cliff overlooking the village of Garabandal. We pray the Rosary as we walk along towards the top of the hill and possible we pray the Stations of the Cross. We will spend some time and enjoy the peaceful, tranquil and beautiful around the Pines.
Garabandal - Santo Toribio Monastery
After breakfast we will travel to Santo Toribio de Liebana Monastery. The monastery houses the largest known piece of the True Cross. The piece is discovered in Jerusalem by Saint Helena of Constantinople and brought from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre by Saint Turibius of Astorga. We lined up to venerate the Cross. On September 23, 1512, Pope Julius II, through an apostolic bull, granted the privilege of celebrating the Jubilee Year of Lebaniego, making the monastery an important pilgrimage centre. The monastery is located in the lush green hills and also renowned for its stunning architecture, impressive facade and serene atmosphere. They have a small gift shop where you can find good quality local handicrafts and religious items that make for perfect souvenirs to remember your visit. Return to our hotel and evening dinner here.

After breakfast, we will attend Mass at the only beautiful church in Garabandal (if available). Enjoy your last day in this wonderful and tranquil and peaceful place of Garabandal. This is your last full day in Garabandal feel free to revisit places of interest. Evening dinner at the hotel.
Garabandal - Home
After breakfast check-out the hotel. Depending on the time of the departure, we may have a chance to go up the Pines to say goodbye to our Lady and possibly Mass here.

A deposit payment of £250 with your completed booking form will confirm your place on this tour. The final balance is due 2 months prior to the departure date.
